SoCal Speedsters is a leading manufacturer of premium 356 and 550 Replicas. We acquired all of the assets of two different manufacturers and combined the two companies under the name SoCal Speedsters. SoCal Speedsters is primarily focused on building 356 and 550 replicas. If you visit our factory, you’ll see vintage cars like the Speedster 356 and Spyder 550 being produced along with a few other custom projects. We have assembled a team of highly qualified experts, all whom have extensive experience in the automotive and replica manufacturing industry. Our master builders have decades of experience and have delivered hundreds of vintage replicas to satisfied customers all over the world. We are passionate about designing, building and delivering show quality replicas. Simply said, “We are car guys!”
Whether you choose one of our vintage 356 replicas or a spyder replica, it's underpinned with modern technology and engineering. We build all our cars right here in the Vista, California where we have access to an incredibly broad and diverse manufacturing support system. We use state-of-the-art design and manufacturing tools to create and build the best porsche replicas possible. During the manufacturing process, we utilize waterjet cutters, laser cutters, CNC tube bending equipment, and our own master builders to meet and exceed our customer expectations. In terms of design, we use sophisticated CAD tools to design components, and use advanced software tools to help model everything we do when producing 356 speedsters, spyder replicas, and the vintage coupes.
Building 356 and spyder replicas is our job however more importantly, it is our passion. Everyone who works on our speedsters has a deep passion for designing, building and delivering the highest quality replicas.

Grab some popcorn because this one’s going to be a while. Let me first day by starting with Doug is probably the most ethical businessman I have ever worked with we had started this project with a previous company and they had started the car and later were acquired by Doug’s company. The project was supposed to take four months, and we were a year and three months into it with nothing but terrible stories and awful feelings, coming from the owner of the previous company, who is now out of business, and not in a position to finish the project. It was not Doug’s problem Out of nowhere I got a phone call from Doug and he rescued the project. He honored our contract and made dreams come true for this once in a lifetime purchase, he picked up and improved on the project in ways. We never thought were possible he upgraded several finishes based on our design and multiple discussions. He took the time and actually cares about what he does so much That it came out not only perfect but we are raving fans and getting ready to do a couple more cars. Our friends and family are blown away when we show up to events and though it took a couple extra days to get my wife comfortable driving stick shift. It was the right decision And she absolutely loves flying around town in her midnight blue beauty. I’ve built and bought and driven a lot of cars. This is by far the most primo and beautiful build we’ve done and I can’t wait to see what you do next Doug if we can help you in the Midwest and spread the word, don’t ever hesitate to call on us, anyone needs to test drive your work we are happy and honored to do so thanks again for being one of the good ones in a sea of people in an industry that is not known for integrity. I had Doug and his team build me 550 Spyder which was a challenge as wanted a replica that was as close as an original. They spend a great deal of time and effort to provide me what I wanted and it came out great ................ paint and interior fantastic and the power I wanted using a pro-built 2332 with dual weber's.
Doug was great to work with and deal with, if I didn't already have another Porsche I would get a 356.
